cant clear exsisting sketch from screen
lines still remain after shakeing

Okay..... um kinda a weird question but I'll try my best to answer it.
Try taking the Etch a Sketch, turn it so the pure red part is facing you, otherwise, the one with no screen. Start shaking it and it should work. If this doesn't work... uh... shake harder?

shaking it still wont erase it

Some artist remove the extra dust and disable the controls to protect the image is this one of those?
