Re-installing On/off switch bracket

Ipad 3rd generation

I am battling to re-install the bracket that hold the on/off switch (behind the rear camera.)

Is the bracket all side same side?

I just cannot get it to seat properly so that the switch button can operate the switch itself.

Is that bracket available as a replacement part?

I already followed that guide but it does not show how to replace the bracket. I have tried numerous times but just cannot get that bracket back to seat so I can screw it down. Should the switch itself go inside that oval ring from the top?
