Why is my computer's screen black?
My screen is currently black, and I'm pretty sure the laptop is on.

First try turning your brightness up. If the screen is still black, try plugging in the computer and turning it on again. If the display still won't work, try connecting your laptop to another monitor. If the other monitor displays properly, the issue is most likely with the connection between your laptop and laptop screen.
