Touch panel problems after repair

I can't find any problem with the board I moved over, the cables or the connection for the new LCD, but I have a dead touch from the bottom up for almost 2 inches and all the way across when holding it horizontally. Basically the whole on screen keyboard when holding it with the cameras and such at the top.

I've tried cleaning and re-seating the cables several times to no avail. Any ideas? :(
