Won't charge missing piece that power cord goes into

Hi,

Are you referring to the micro USB connector in the tablet?

If so, as it is a SMD (Surface Mounted Device) type micro USB connector, you will need the tools and skills required to unsolder and solder SMD devices.

If the connector is just loose and is still inside the tablet then perhaps it can just be re-terminated. If it is actually missing then a new one will have to be obtained.

Here is a link to the ifixit repair guide on how to remove the motherboard in your tablet.

This will give access to the charge port which is mounted on it.
