I threw my laptop like I threw this election and I think some parts came lose. It looks like the heatsink fell off as I can really feel the bern now that tempers are flaring. What is the best way to fix this issue?

You would have to take apart you laptop to see how the heat sink is attached. If the holes where the heat sink is mounted where not destroyed when it was thrown then you would just have to remount the heat sink. But since the mounting holes often are in the mainboard then the reattachment is more difficult since a new mainboard would surely have a high spar part cost.
