So I just formatted my mac OS version 10.7.5.Downloaded sierra and launched it. Computer restarts and everything goes smoothly until.... "your computer is not connected to a power source ".
My ac adapter is attached but I have no battery installed, I intend to buy a new one soon enough but, I need to work in the mean time so.... Anyone could help me out?

Hi it almost worked.... Now it says the installer payload failed signature check. :( what does thateven mean?
Hi again! So it appears that my date and time were wrong after smc reset. So i corrected it and the update is going normally. Thanks for the answer, peace!

Did all suggested including date reset via Terminal but obstinately refuses to install Sierra :-(
