Why isn't the bread toasting evenly?
I am trying to understand why only one part of the bread is being toasted and not all of it.

There are a few issues that can be addressed for your problem. One reason can be that your temperature knobs are not consistent with the temperature setting and the other reason can be that your toaster has faulty or broken wires.
