Plugged in phone, shows up in iTunes, no charging noise, screen black?

I preformed a self repair today, which I have done this 8-10 times now so I am good at it. I went to turn the phone on, and I have nothing. I have tried different hard resets and so on. I plug it into iTunes and it says that I need to enter my password in order to do anything..... Which I cannot do because the screen is black. However, the phone does not make a charging noise no matter what I do when it is plugged in? I have tried different cables, so I know that isn't the issue.. So, basically I think it might be my LCD, but I am worried that it is something more. If it is, what do you guys know about this situation that maybe I could try as well before buying another LCD?

Thanks!

put your old screen back on...does it work?

If so, you have a bad LCD. If not, update us as its probably something more complicated. The good news is that iTunes sees it, so the majority of systems are working.

Two issues, 1. your screen could be bad and try another screen and see what results you have.

2. May have a back light issue with the device, if you shine a flashlight on the screen you can see a slight image then your backlight is damaged.

What about a hard reset? Press and hold the powe and home button until the apple logo appears. If it doesn't after 20 seconds, then I'm stumped.

itunes sees it, sees as locked, so iOS is talking to iTunes. I believe its a bad display
