Window says : iCloud backup. This iPod touch hasn't been backed up to iCloud in two weeks. Backups happen when this iPod touch is plugged in, locked, and connected to wifi. O.K.
Tried whatever I can think of and I can't get out of that window so nothing else works.

Try holding down the power and home button till it restarts.

Thank you. I tried that previously but I think I failed to hold the buttons down long enough to let it reboot.
