Dear Ifixit,
I recently purchased a replacement battery for my iphone 5 and after swapping the old for the new I now only have a blue screen.
Please advise.

This is almost certainly long screw damage.

How was the battery removed.
Did you make sure to put the 3 Phillips head screws in the right spot for front display ribbon connectors in case you unplugged display?
Might be long screw damage.
