Is there a place to reset my tablet?
My tablet is frozen on a game an can not get it off it want even turn off? Need to know how to reset the tablet.

I FINALLY HAVE IT! No one has been able to figure out the hard reset on the trio stealth G5 7.85, BUT I DID! This works for forgotten pattern codes and everything! And its a screwed up way but here goes:
- Power on the device and wait for the lock screen to come on.
- Hold power button down until the (power off, reboot, or silence device) menu comes up.
- Press and HOLD power off selection! It will pop up a screen that asks if you want to restart im SAFE MODE! (Thats the missing element!)
- Select yes and when the screen goes black quickly press and hold down the + volume (up volume) button until the factory reset screen comes on!FINALLY!
- Release the button, use - volume (decrease button) to select choice and power button to select choice!
- I'VE LOOKED EVERYWHERE AND NO ONE HAD THE ANSWER! BOOM!

Awesome Worked 10/08/18
I hate to say it but this didn't work for me. I have tried the usual technique everyone says to use to hard reset my tablet but it doesn't work. I contacted Trio Tablets and they are even refusing to help me figure out how to do a reset. So frustrating....

i had read your question
you first need to remove back case then disconnect battery and connect it it will work fine
if you want reset (need battery percentage more than 50% to avoid software brick)
1. turn off device first
2. hold vol+ button and power button together
3. from that menu choose data wipe/factory reset option
4. select yes and wait till tablet getting restarted
its done

1 power off tablet
2 hold volume down and power button together
3 keep them down until the trio logo comes up and flashes ( wait for the trio logo to blink )
4 release the power button while still holding the volume down button quickly press and hold the volume up button
5 it should go directly to the recovery screen and you can use your volume keys to navigate the recovery options

Still doesn't work for me.
All this method does is takes me to safe mode.
go into settings hit recovery mode it will restart and go into recovery moved volume down button to wippe cach then hit reboot

TCarpenter I want to Thank you I had tried all the other Hardrest and nothing worked just found your fix it tip. Got right to the factory rest and now restarting my Trio 7 and waiting for it to start back up. You are AWSOME THANK YOU so much I have the Welcome screen it's like I just took it out of the box. Thank you again
