No sound at all on my iPhone 6?!

Hi guys, so recently i bought an iPhone from someone for cheap because it hadn't no sound. At first I just thought that the problem was with the speaker, easy to fix right. But I was wrong. The iPhone has no sound at all ... not trough the earpiece, not trough the speaker, not through the earbuds ... But it still records sound (tested it with the voice recorder).

When switching to video mode in the camera app, the screen is blurry and it's not possible to record video ... But in photo mode it works perfectly ...

I tried to restore it to factory settings and to update it, but none of this helped so far ...

Could someone please tell me what the problem is? I hope it's not an ic - chip ....

Thanks!

Check the LCI (Liquid Contact Indicator) as shown here:

https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT204104

Also there are two or more LCI indicators on the logic board which is inside the phone of course too.

Did you check if the water damage sticker where red?

No water damage ... the sticker is not red

I went swimming with mine in a pool. Revived the device from non working to working 90% with alcohol soak + rice dry solution + battery / screen replace.

Now i have a phone that fully works but no sounds It exhibits the symptoms you're describing and more: No videos in any app (safari, youtube, Photos, netflix, etc.) unless headphones or blutooth is connected. No audio unless headphones/bluetooth headset is connected.

Rejects facetime calls

Siri will not activate-its screen will show up but just with the text "What can I help you with?"

When you try to go to the audio output menu (i.e. hook up a bluetooth headset, and play music in itunes, click the AIRPLAY / beam icon to select audio output and you'll see one labeled "iPhone ..." with a speaker icon which normally (on a working phone) shows up as the text "iPhone" with a phone icon next to it.

What I have tried:

Switching just the speaker with a known working one -- doesn't solve

~in progress test: switch the microphone/lightning/headphone assembly.
