1 Why doesn't the phone open?
It only displays a yellow box outline which will contract to your fingerwidth wherever you tap the screen. The phone had not even been with WIFI and was never activated. Is it something that I need to get rid of, or is it fixable?

Sounds like some accessibility feature. Try double tapping to select something in the display. Use multiple fingers to move the screen around. Is it zoomed in?
