So I bought a battery for this macbook pro (from Ifixit about 9 months ago and now it just stopped charging. Any Ideas of what to do? or could I get a replacement?

First you'll need to do a SMC reset. Then charge the battery for a good 16 hours. Discharge it fully using the system. Then charge it again for a good 16 hours. You may need to do this a second time. This will calibrate your system.
If that fails you'll need to speak directly with the IFIXIT store on getting the battery exchanged.
