iPad mini a1490, glass and LCD both repaired. When I try to turn the iPad on, the Apple logo comes on, then it goes to a black screen. I let the battery run down and plugged it in. The charging indicator comes on for a second then it goes to a black screen. It's like the screen is shorting out..... Help please

Is the device staying powered on? Do you hear any lock sounds or notice any activity when the screen goes black? Does the device boot loop or just turn black?
If the device is boot looping you may have damaged the gas gauge components that are next to the battery connector when using your tool to disconnect it.
Let me know what you find!

Same issue & model! But my device has never been repaired, it stays powered, I hear the sound when I plug in power, and if it is dark enough I can see that the backlighting is on. On occasion, especially if the device is cool, the screen and touch respond well enough, but as soon as it warms up the screen goes black. I can turn off the device if I'm lucky and swipe in the correct area. What needs to be repaired and is it even worth it?
