Hi there. I am from India. I purchased a ps4 yesterday and here the condition of light is not that great. I just want to ask that why the ps4 does not opens and swtuches on in the inverter power back up. All my devices start up up not the ps4. It switches off when it is electricity that spoils the whole fun. Please help me i dont wanna waste my money.

Hi friend, wonder no one given an answer yet. So this is how I have a set up. I have connected my home to microtek inverter and then my Apc 600 ups then my PS4. So I have double battery back up and still PS4 switch off when current goes off. The problem is house inverter is not sine wave technology. How do you confirm this. Switch off the wall switch to which APC is connected and try switching on PS4 only with APC back up without home inverter. If it switch on go Change your digital inverter to sine wave. And continue gaming.

Hi, can i connect ps4 to sine wave ups and then to not sine wave home inverter. After power cut will the ups convert inverter power to sinewave ?
@joedk I purchased new APC 600va UPS and it's connected to the switch but when the power goes off, my ps4 turns off. Is there any way I can fix it?

Please ensure UPS is pure Sinewave rated. Generally In India they will provide Square wave UPS/ Inverter. Irrespective of the Voltage or Battery capacity the PS doesn't work with this. Pure Sienwave UPS is a bit costlier to Square wave one. If you want to use PS4 then you need to invest on it.
When the power switched off and our PlayStation is on. The virtualization in the switching off and on in the electricity harms our PlayStation motherboard very dangerously. Sometimes the AC when high our PlayStation motherboard cannot handle the circulation of current and it was shot down. I faced this problem and lost my previous PlayStation due to this problem.

What i did is i buy ups but i don't use switch which have inverter power.. i use normal electricity one and when power cuts.. it switch to ups and that gives me 20-30 mins. If power didn't come back then i save my game and turn off my ps4. When i use ups on inverter power then ups didn't convert power and my ps4 turn off in a blink

Can you please tell which ups you're using? And are you using it with ps4 or ps5?

How many times has the electricity switched off while the PS4 was on? Also, can you specify the AC voltage you use.

Yup. It has got switched off like 20 times till now. Also it uses an voltage of 220V.

I am also facing the same problem. My Inverter is very powerful and my 32 inch HDTV , Desktop PC never trip whenever power cuts off but PS4 always shutdown and it's only turned ON when electricity come back again. Don't know what is wrong. Can you please help. Thank you

tadnya, help me to understand something. When you say your "inverter" are you referring to a transformer or a power supply, like a UPS?
