My Laptop Is Asus N53SV.A few Days ago My laptop didn't Turn On. I give it to the Repairman.
Now When I open the door of Laptop, it Turn on automatically without press Power key.
The repairman said this is because I Update bios diver and this is new features that Asus add to this system. I want to know this is Right???

i'm not PRO or so but i'll say yes becouse the bios has to detect that you use that reed switch (most laptops use reed switch) and i think you can turn it off in BIOS just enter it and look arround

then you say my laptop doesn't have any problem?
in my opinion not ....and if you look at the settings you'll be able to turn it off
(my friend has an samsung ultrabook and he has exactly same feature)
