MacBook powering up when connecting magsafe adapter and not sleeping

Hello everyone,

I recently replaced my hard drive cable because it was damaged, but when I put everything back together I have some issues:

- My battery doesn't work anymore. It says 97% but is not charging and says it needs to be replaced now, and when I disconnect the magsafe adapter, the computer powers off right away

- When the computer is powered off, and I connect the magsafe adapter it boots up without touching the power button

- When I close the lit it doesn't go to sleep mode, and the battery light (fron left corner) doesn't light up

I tried resetting Pram and CMS. The hardware test is not working.

Any help would be much appreciated!
