Display not aligned after re-installation

Hey there-

I recently purchased a brand new replacement display for my Macbook Pro (A1502) and after following all of the re-installation steps to a T (to a tee? idk), the display assembly is slightly misaligned by a few centimeters when closed. Any tips on what I can do to fix this?
