4 Soluções

Solução escolhida

Yes, providing it is the same type, (2.5." SATA).

If the hard drive has Windows on it you will have to wipe it and install Mac OS X first.

The hard drive must have enough space to hold Mac OS X.

You should clone your existing hard drive onto the other one so you can swap it and still have your OS, files and settings.

This drive will work, since it is 9.5 mm tall, but I believe there are some taller 12 mm drives that won't fit.

as long as its a 2.5" SATA drive, you are good to go.

Along what QEII student said, make sure to reformat it. It's also a good idea to just clone your drive from the one already in the MBP, that makes not only the transition easier, but saves you the step of installing Mac OS X. I suggest either Super Duper or Carbon Copy Cloner, both are excellent (free i believe) tools for cloning drives

Yes, all you need is to completely format it first. I strongly advise that you do full format during the installation process. With this, the system would format and scan the drive for errors.
