How do I clean the LCD screen without damaging it? It has collected some small particles (tiny shards from the front panel removal), a partial palm print and a possible epoxy smudge (its very small).

Put on some latex gloves to avoid getting finger prints on the LCD. Use an air blower or very soft synthetic paintbrush or camera lens cleaning brush to knock flecks off. Kim Wipes or a new microfiber cloth and an ammonia free glass cleaner will work to remove the stubborn spots. Generally if its safe for use on a pair of glasses or camera lens it is ok to use on the LCD.
Don't use windex.
You could also buy a cheap camera cleaning kit from amazon that will come with a air blower and brush.
