Is my ambient light sensor broken?

Hi there,

i just recently replaced my keyboard upper case with a new one and installed my old German keyboard! After putting everything back together i noticed that the LEDs change from the lowest setting to the highest setting (and back again to the lowest) repeatedly.

Could it be a problem with the ambient light sensor or does it have anything to do with the keyboard?

I have to add that the new upper case does not exactly match the old one in terms of fittings, for example for the bluetooth antenna... Also i had to change the upper case cable, as the new cable didn't fit to the connector on the logic board!

Thanks in advance for any inputs on what could be the problem!
