cracked glass no back light
front glass is cracked and there is no back light it works fine but no back light

I would open the iPod and check the display connector, maybe it's not fitted right. since the front glass is cracked, i guess the iPod was dropped.
here is the guide to open the iPod touch.
the needed tools are listed in the guide.
