After Replacing the battery on my iphone 5 i managed to break the part of the motherboard that controls the homebutton and the lock button.
Is it possible to make the volumebutton to work as the homebutton?

Whoa sorry to hear that, I doubt you can program any button like that with a standard IOS software, maybe on the jailbreak community there is something but I don't know.
