I was attempting to upgrade my hard drive and became a little too overzealous and cracked it. I cant seem to find any replacement lcd assembly for the Pro. I was wondering if the lcd assembly from the RT will fit.

No the display assembly of Microsoft Surface RT wont fit on Microsoft Surface Pro.
The Cable layout is totally different RT has 2 cables coming in display assembly where as Pro just has one cable.
The RT display assembly looks like this
The Pro display assembly looks like the image shown for step 6 here

I have the same problem gijim04. I ordered the one for the rt not knowing there was a pro version. The lcd for the rt does not work with the pro. If you find one for the pro please let me know, as i will do the same.
