i replaced the screen on my ipod touch 4g and when i reconnected the lcd cable and flex cable the screen became white i did the hard reset it gave me the apple logo then faded away in white pixels then turned black and wont turn back on

Have you checked the LCD connector? It can sometimes pop back out if it wasn't snapped in properly.
If you have already stuck the screen down then heat it up and take your time prying it off again to check.
