memory lower slot is not working
I have 2 slot, one is lower and 1 is upper. lower is not working, please help

Commun problem with the PB Alu 15". There was a Apple recall program for this issue but it ended a couple years ago. Impossible to repair the lower ram slot. Only solution is a logic board swap or install a I GB ram stick in the upper ram slot and that's it.
