AFAIK Teenage Engineering improved the packaging to avoid issues with the fader. [br]
If it gives false signals (flickers) then you should get in contact with their support team to get a replacement. [br]
There are ways to fix the issue yourself (search "fader gate" on youtube) but if it is still in warranty, they should send you a replacement. [br]
If you are worride the second unit has the same issue, maybe you can provide them the serial numbers and have Teenage Engineering check from which batch they are. Or you’ll just give the sealed one back to the vendor and buy a separate one (separate batch).
