Hi,
Connect an external monitor to the laptop and check if its’ display is still OK when the laptop’s screen is faulty.
If its’ display show the same problems you may have a problem with the GPU or the motherboard in the laptop.
If the external monitor’s display is OK you may have a problem with the video cable (or video cable connections) but more likely with the laptop’s display panel itself.
