checking charging port for any dirt and clean out carefully can seem very simple, but this can be the root of your problem. A dirty port can cause your device not to receive any charge making it look as your battery is to blame. try using a gentle brush to clean your charging port.

Faulty microphone

Cellular problems
Many times being far from mobile towers can make it hard for the person on the other end to hear you, muffled sound, or a call can cut off can be a cellular issue. Simply by being far from mobile towers can give you a poor connection and providing your poor cellular connection. Check your cellular service provider and make sure you are near cellular towers to experience excellent cellular service. Try checking which cellular service provider covers your county or town to get the best service.

Dirty built up under the screen
