Screen Won't Turn On
The laptop screen remains black after holding the power button.
Faulty Battery
If the device will not power on, try to plug it into an outlet with the power supply that came with the laptop. If that still does not work, it is possible the battery needs to be replaced or the battery may not be properly positioned.
Slow Processing Speed
The laptop is slow to run applications that involve processing amounts of data.
Past-version CPU Drivers
In your system's hardware settings, check your CPU to make sure that it has the most recent driver updates.
Low Memory Storage
When trying to run multiple applications and processes, the laptop's speed decreases.
RAM not operating at full capacity
Check to make sure that all 4GB of RAM are still available to use by using your system diagnostics. If not, then it may be worth considering a replacement.
Background Programs taking RAM
By closing tabs that are visible on the taskbar of your computer that you are no longer using you can free up a lot of RAM that might have been being used. You can also go into task manager to see how much RAM each program is using, and to close up background programs that are not currently being used.
Overheating
The laptop gets uncomfortably hot in temperature when it is in use.
Cleaning the Fan
Open the back of the laptop and access the fan, once you see it you can clean the fan itself using a microfiber cloth and/or compressed air to clear the clogging. If you notice the fan is not in movement while you are working, the fan may need to be replaced.
Unresponsive Touchpad
The laptop is not responding to user input on the trackpad.
Using a Wireless/Wired USB Mouse
A wireless/wired USB compatible mouse can be found for cheap to use with your laptop, at least temporarily.
Unresponsive Keyboard
The laptop is not responding to the keystrokes inputted.
Keys Falling Off
If your keys have fallen off and you still have them, you can try to push them back into the keyboard where they were missing. If that does not work, you can get a wired USB keyboard and use that as the keyboard.
