Responder a: How do you set it back to factory settingsHi! I have copied this answer from another LG washing machine post I located on iFixit @ LG WASHER won't drain or spin "To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall. Next, open and close the door of the washing machine 6 times within 12 seconds to send a “reset” signal to all the components. (This is a common fix that many appliance repair mechanics use – it works on about 50% of all washing machines.) " I was hoping that my google skills could help you find a solution and from my research this is the best one I could find! I hope it helps.
Responder a: What kind of screen replacement do I need?If you are fairly new to repair i highly recommend purchasing the part with the entire frame, digitizer, and LCD together. This will allow for a much easier repair process. I am not vouching for this supplier or part quality but it would be something like this https://www.ebay.com/i/222481893444?chn=... If you want to save a little money you can order the Digitizer/LCD assembly without the frame but reinstalling into the frame can be problematic without proper adhesive and placement of the flex cables. The small cost of having it preinstalled in the frame will be a big time saver and help with the longevity of the repair!
Responder a: Vertical lines on iPhone 5s during refurbishmentIt is likely that you are damaging the contact points where you are applying the static paste. This could be happening during lamination or potentially when you are removing the glue that is on the corners of the display. The lines you see are almost associated with the top right and left corners of the display being damaged. It seems unlikely to me you would only see this issue on 5s, are you also seeing on 5 and 5c? Id be happy to diagnose this issue with you if you are still in need of help.
Responder a: How to replace touch using the digitizer that can be bought from ebay?Unfortunately replacing the digitizer on the Edge would require a Pulse Press. You can order the glass with digi but expensive machinery and training would be required to reconnect the new digitizer. Unfortunately the cable does not attach like it does on a older LED display like the S4. I have heard rumors of people soldering this connection but I find that highly unlikely, or inconsistant. If you wish to experiment with resoldering that connection you will have to pull the LED display from the phones frame to reach the connection on the back.
Responder a: How can I remove ALL lint and dust with OCA screen Refurbishing? Many things you do can help with dust I'll quickly go over some options and if you need more advice let me know. I have a refurbishment lab in California and know exactly what your going through. Setup a humidifier near where your rolling oca and applying glass. Get a hepa air filter from local hardware store. Build or buy a hud to put over where you roll and apply glass limiting the open air over your work space. If your willing to spend money you can source a dust free room in China to setup your machines in. Adding the tips above will hopefully have you on your way soon. I haven't seen dust in a long time. Best wishes.
Responder a: Flex Cable Over Speaker Enclosure? The front camera is freezing? Or never opens. If it never opens its likely that its the flex cable for the camera. I know it is on the 4s.
Responder a: Why is the touch screen not responding? There is a good chance the device suffered water damage. I would clean the digitizer connector on the logic board with rubbing alcohol let it dry completely and try again.
