- Esta versão do Surface Go é significativamente mais fácil de abrir graças ao novo adesivo para display e às blindagens internas reprojetadas.
- O uso de apenas um tipo de parafuso simplifica o reparo.
- A falta de modularidade, especialmente em portas de alto desgaste, torna os reparos desnecessariamente caros.
- A substituição de qualquer peça exige a remoção do conjunto do display, uma peça fácil (e cara) de danificar.

A big part of the Surface’s thermal solution is the aluminum backshell. If they added thermal pads between the back of the CPU and PMIC area of the PCB and the case, it would definitely be a nice touch.
