shattered outer screen - LCD had a small spot
Minha Solução
Removing the shattered glass was very difficult. There are a few pieces of debris between the glass, I should've used (or the guide recommended) compressed air to clean between the two screens. The hot roll was ineffective, essentially I just scraped between the outer screen and the base until I got all of the glass and glue removed.
Meu Conselho
The ribbon for the home button was difficult and I had the refer to other online tutorials, perhaps a better description of how to install this while it is attached to the outer screen. I did not want to remove it from the new screen so I wouldn't risk damaging it when I removed it.
