Out of Focus

Meu Problema

My original iPhone 5 rear facing camera was clear for the first second after opening the camera app. After that point the camera would blur as it tried to focus. At one point it was making some horrendous noises as it tried to focus on items around the room.

Minha Solução

Absolutely fabulous. The one part that was tricky was getting the camera flash to properly sit in place while trying to install the motherboard, camera and cover plate. Otherwise it was a piece of cake and the repair guide was perfect!

Meu Conselho

Be VERY meticulous, deliberate and patient while doing the repair. Rushing will cause errors. Using an ice tray labeled with masking tape by step makes a great parts tray. Silicone baking sheets make a great anti static mat. If you find yourself getting frustrated, as I did with the camera flash, just get up and step away for a minute.
