Coke Zero spill - Zero problem solution

Meu Problema

Girlfriend spilled some coke zero over my old MacBook Pro - and a few keys died in the aftermath. Even complete disassembly and cleaning of the keyboard didn't help. It was dead.

Minha Solução

Repair went super easy. It's not the first time I've opened the MBP but never for keyboard replacement. The guide was perfect, otherwise the bent tabs holding the keyboard in place even without screws would have had me stumped for a bit.

Reassembly took all of three or four minutes.

Don't be afraid to do this. It's really easy. Just make sure you have decent tools.
