Home button was not working at 100%
Minha Solução
After having already replaced the battery in this phone figured I'd see how 'involved' the replacement of the home button would be. I did watch the video before ordering the part and it didnt seem too difficult, just a lot more involved. Overall, mission accomplished - new button installed and phone is operating well.
Meu Conselho
1. Getting the actual screen to separate from the surround was more effort that I thought it would be - you do need to exert force - not a huge amount but certainly more than expected. I re-watched the video on this to ensure I wasnt going to break the screen!
2. When putting the screen back in place ensure the connectors at the top of the phone are fully pulled through - you'll understand that when you get to this part. I had to go back and undo part of the assembly to fix this mistake.
3. Take the opportunity to clean up the edges and other parts of the phone that have accumulated grime etc - I used cue tips for this piece.
