I wanted to add an SSD to my Mac Mini and use it as the main drive. I kept the 500 gb stock drive to use as storage
Minha Solução
Easy. Just follow the online instructions. In my kit, however, all four of the grommets for the hard drive cage were the same. In the guide, it shows there being two different styles of grommets. In the end, it didn't seem to make a difference as the SSD fit securely into the cage.

Follow instructions step by step. The kit supplied by ifixit is excellent. It seemed a bit intimidating at first to completely dismantle a new Mac Mini (this is my first Mac computer), but it was no problem at all with the kit, instructions and available video.
