The original battery life was exceptionally short- I don’t live close to an Apple store and the ifix videos made it look doable

It was amazingly straightforward! I have lightbulbs in my house that are harder to change than my iPhone battery! I’m not going to wait so long before I decide to do this again when needed

The ifixit toolkit has everything needed- just go slowly around the periphery of the screen and once you have the battery disconnected you are almost home free- I did break the adhesive tapes under the battery by pulling too hard but the battery came out pretty easily using leverage .The total time spent from beginning to end was less than 20 minutes and I’m sure next time it will be half that- it just isn’t that bad
