Hard Drive had stopped working and thought I had a virus on Mac...what? Nope, just a worn out Hard Drive cable like so many others

Minha Solução

The repair went smoothly and quickly thanks to a perfect product and excellent online directions at iFixit. I even added a 2nd Hard Drive while I was under the hood in the Optical Drive slot with the appropriate adaptor.

Don't be afraid to save a few bucks and tackle this problem. It really isn't difficult.
