Meu Problema
About a week ago I got the ring of death on my XBOX. I don't play that much so I thought it might be cheaper to repair than replace. Guy at Radio Shak told me to dump it. So I searched some more and found this site.

Suprisingly very easy, your step by step guides were awesome. It's only been one day, but the problem has gone away. I played a few hour that day...where before it would go out about 5 minutes into playing the game.
Meu Conselho
Go slow and be careful. This was the first time I've ever done anything like this and it took about 2 hours to disassemble, clean and reassemble the XBOX.
