Kindle Fire 8.9 Charging Point repair

Meu Problema

Kindle would not charge.

Minha Solução

If you replace the complete charging assembly it is a straightforward repair (no soldering just unplug the old and plug in the new) .

My only problem was that I needed to open the kindle up again as I hadn't reconnected the screen properly (It came undone during the repair). After I did that it worked perfectly.

Meu Conselho

Just be patient and methodical and use a magnifying glass.
