The iPad Pro was announced on September 9th alongside the iPhone 6s/6s Plus, and launched on November 11 of the same year. Featuring a 12.9-inch, 264 ppi display and a self-balancing four-speaker array, the Pro is the largest iOS device yet, targeted towards media professionals looking to replace traditional laptops.
iPad Pro has two feature accessories, the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. The Pencil is a stylus that enables drawing directly to the screen with high-precision pressure sensitivity. The Smart Keyboard is a full-sized keyboard that connects to the iPad via the Smart Connector. It has the same dome switches used in the 2015 Macbook.
The most common repairs for the 12.9 inch iPad Pro are replacing a cracked front glass screen or a dead battery. The iPad Pro 12.9" front glass panel is held to the aluminum case with strips of adhesive. Once the device is opened, this adhesive will need to be replaced.
