The Mako Driver Kit includes iFixit's 4 mm aluminum screwdriver handle with magnetic bit sockets, knurled grips, and swivel tops—plus 64 precision driver bits and a flexible extension.

We built this 64 bit driver kit using data from thousands of our repair manuals and teardowns, ensuring you have the most compact yet complete assortment of bits for electronics repair. This driver kit includes standard, security, and specialty driver bits for a wide range of regular and exotic repairs. Standard bits like Phillips and Flathead will get you into most small household appliances and electronic devices. And security and exotic bits like pentalobes will let you gain access to your Apple devices like iPhones and MacBooks. Whether you're a professional fixer or a weekend warrior, this bit kit has what you need to disassemble, repair, and reassemble smartphones, game consoles, wearables, laptops, desktops, tablets, small appliances, and much more!

All our next-gen bit kits have been re-engineered for maximum utility. The bit kit lid is held in place with magnets to increase product lifespan (no more broken hinges or clasps) and also mounts to the back of the bit kit case to keep it out of the way while you do your work. Or, if you need help keeping your screws and parts organized, use the lid’s integrated sorting tray. And our 4 mm bits have been redesigned with a longer neck for a deeper and more precise reach.

Meu Problema

I had to replace the battery since mine was not charging anymore and I was NOT going to pay Apple's $500 amount. They were charging me that much for the battery replacement and trackpad cleaning. I came back home purchased the 64 bit driver kit, spudger and tweezers. In total I spent about $100 incl . . .

Meu Problema

I wanted the magnets and the platters. I'm not repairing anything why are you asking me about that? If anything I was destroying stuff, not that the hard drives worked anyway.

Minha Solução

uh, I got some magnets? And some platters?

Meu Conselho

no not really.

Meu Problema

VERY, VERY EASILY. (Oops! Have my caps lock on.) I've been using iFixit for year and years. Helped me replace the power inverter for the display on my old Dell 10 yrs ago (so simple and so inexpensive!), before I got fed up with Microsoft (track pad not working & someone at MS actually told me, from . . .

Meu Problema

The battery was swollen and the trackpad had been pushed up out of the chassis. The bottom of the laptop was bowed out.

Minha Solução

I purchased the iFixit Driver Kit to get the drivers I needed to take the back off and to remove the computer. I then installed the battery I bought from iFixit. My computer is work . . .

Meu Problema

Needed to destroy storage on old phone before it's sent to recycling

Minha Solução

The "Repair" as it is hasn't happened yet because when you open up the Moto G, everything is covered in metal panels. I wanted to drill into whatever was the storage area before sending the phone off to recycling so that nefarious p . . .

Meu Problema

The factory battery began to expand and was causing problems.

Minha Solução

Very easy and simple. Just needed the right screw driver bit.

Meu Conselho

Nope.

Meu Problema

My Gamecube C-Stick was drifting in games.

Minha Solução

Will be quick

Meu Conselho

With the proper driver I could unscrew the triangle screws holding together controller. I noticed that a new C-stick is needed. Now all I need to do is replace the C-stick with a similar stock item.

Meu Problema

This is what we do..

Minha Solução

as it should

Meu Conselho

Never give up.

Meu Problema

After we moved into our new house, our PS3 would overheat within seconds of powering it on.

Minha Solução

After following the steps for the full teardown, I was able to see that the thermal paste needed to be replaced in two spots. After carefully removing the old paste and replacing, it powered on and worked like . . .

Meu Problema

I had to remove a large heatsink from my CPU to replace the CPU, hwoever Hyper 212 evos arte notorious for being less than steller with their X bracket mount despite otherwise being an awsome cooler. So I purchased the 64 peice driver set and it worked amazingly. Arrived a day later than expected bu . . .
