Meu Problema

"Brick Cellphone" Possible corrupt firmware, I was unable to upload original firmware from Samsung and Samsung repair center declare my cellphone broken "Beyond Repair" do water damage.... non sense.

Minha Solução

The repair was easy probably the harder part was to reconnect the ribbon cables they're very small, from start to finish it takes about ten minutes.

Make sure you have clean work area and touch any grounded metal before you star the repair electrostatic can damage circuit parts.

Meu Problema

The phone would no longer charge. The issue was the micro usb, which i tried to replace. But my soldering iron was not hot enough to melt all the pins at once to get it off.

Minha Solução

I replaced the mother board and screen and the phone is like new.

Replace the screen first. It is harder and there is no reason to subject the new board to a heat gun.

It was so easy to swap mother boards, and fascinating to see how fasteners are used to connect different components to the motherboard.

Meu Conselho

Have a guitar pick handy to pop open the clips that hold the inner cover down to the corners, and for pushing up the fasteners.

Don't waste your time trying to solder or replace the power switch on the motherbaord, this fix is easy and lets you just swap out the whole motherboard. so so much easier.
