Press the button on the face of the Roomba to release the bin. Pull out the bin.

Empty out the bin.

Remove the filter from the Roomba by sliding it out of the bin.
If the filter is in good condition, you can clean it and reuse it. If it is damaged or unable to be cleaned sufficiently, replace the filter with a new one.
