My iPhone 4s when on silent keeps jumping to loud by itself. Fixed it by wedging bit of folded cardboard inbetween battery and the ribbon wire which goes to switch
Same problem. Explain briefly. First timer.
Great guide. Easy to follow the step by step instructions with visual guide. But, what would make it slightly better for total beginners like me would be to provide a guide on how to put it back together again. Lol. Also if you could show how to exactly fit the new flex with the silent button as im having trouble keeping it in place/position.
Hi. I just made all steps to replace the conexion of the volume up/down that were damaged by water, I fixed it BUT: now the headphone may be making a contact that says to the iPhone that there's a jack inserted, then the speakers doesn't make any sound. All other thing looks fine, including the mic. Only the SIM card died, but it was very used and I will ask for a new one).
Any idea about what happens to the speaker or the headphone conexion?
I'm very tired after this difficult operation then I will back later. Thank you.
