[* black] Instead we encounter a waterfall of glue.
- [* black] Barely visible under the adhesive torrent: a cable we ripped to get the cap off. A microphone (we think) and the battery contacts that lead to the metallic tip, which connect to the battery case (probably)
- [* black] Removing the glue plug we spy a battery with eensy weensy spot welds. Looks like we won't be replacing these any time soon (or recycling the, ever).
+ [* black] That shiny metal cap provides contact points for charging the AirPod, and surrounds the primary microphone. Hidden behind and within the torrent of glue, we spy the end of the battery cable.
+ [* black] Clearing out the glue plug reveals the end of a teesny weensy battery with teensy weensy spot welds. Looks like we won't be replacing these any time soon (or recycling them, ever).
