[* black] Place the oil filler cap back into the oil filler hole and twist it clockwise until it is snug,
[* red] Locate, remove and wipe off the oil dipstick at the front of the engine. The dipstick has a yellow handle.
[* black] Place the oil dipstick back into its hole all the way and remove it again. Note the oil level on the dipstick,dipstick; it should be between the two bumps. If the oil is below the bottom bump you will need to add oil and if it is above the top bump you will need to remove oil.
